Artist's Description
This is from the series 'The Goddess'. In this series I'm trying to show that through the ages the females in different cultures all over the world have been labeled as 'the fair sex', 'the weaker sex' and given many other negative labels too. I wish to portray the everyday woman and girls in our present day world that are trying to make a difference. We should support them and give them a chance to rise and shine and consider them as equal to men. In this spirit I call the women and girls in this series 'Goddess'.This here is a painting of a mother. The love that any mother showers on her kids is beyond measure and for that I give her the title ' Goddess'.
