About Sarabjit Singh
Welcome,
I'm an artist living in California and doing what I love to do, which is to paint and teach painting and drawing. My passion for art led me to teach art in the schools here and later work as a freelance artist. I feel art can show us the beauty of the people of different cultures, we just need to see and make those connections.
My paintings are done mostly in acrylics. I've participated in juried art exhibitions locally at Triton Museum, San Jose Museum of Art, Solo exhibitions at: San Jose State Ca., Berryessa Library, Group exhibitions : Evergreen College, Berryessa Community Center, NY Billboards and online. My inspiration comes from people around me, places I visit or have travelled to, events, history and nature.

My art is, as Keith Haring said:
"My contribution to the world is my ability to draw. I will draw as much as I can for as many people as I can for as long as I can. Drawing is still basically the same as it has been since prehistoric times. It brings together man and the world. It lives through magic."
